Counseling center Spotlight

The counseling profession needs a strong and united voice so that with its advice and counseling services it can help students to invest time in looking after their skills and abilities for a particular career. Spotlight on Counseling Center by National Council Higher Education will provide many students with specialist, professional and confidential support on a wide range of welfare in financial, emotional, and psychological issues on finding their career path. There is always a time in everyone's life with deadlines and jumbling between jobs and careers that is why NCICU will shine a spotlight on the service of their counseling centers.

The centers offer face-to-face individual counseling, group therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, workshops on dealing with specific issues, and guidance on coping with confused careers, as well as more specialist advice during tough times. The primary purpose of NCICU will be to serve as a collaborative network of leaders and counselors across the nations and to bring a perspective to all NCICU activities. The counseling centers will help the students in their day-to-day concerns and also enhance the overall functioning. NCICU will unite centers in the process to know the students and their specific needs and bring out the perfect counselor for them. Workshops on relevant issues to increase the capabilities of the students will be regularly conducted by the Centers.
