Practice and Policy

A central part of the National Council Progressive Schools' mission is to advocate for related education reforms to integrate Vocational & Skill Education Educators Certification in Indian and International education. To ensure that great teaching is the norm and certification is the expectation for all teachers, we have made policies that strengthen the coherence of the teaching career. Vocational & Skill Education policy and advocacy efforts work with national, state, and local lawmakers to advance this mission. We engage teachers, directors, and system leaders across the country to spread the impact of standards for skilled teaching and certifying that teachers meet those standards. The National Council of International School works with an array of associates across K-12 and higher education to elevate the profession and ensure that every student has access to accomplished and certified teachers. Our Policy priorities are focused on building an extensive career in teaching, and Vocational & Skill Education certification becoming a norm in building the channel to refined teaching and certification, raising teaching standards by investing, and expanding the expertise of Vocational & Skill Education-certified teachers. .
