Education is undoubtedly considered as the most powerful instrument facilitating the economic and social development of a country. In India, Education is believed to be the key for reducing the poverty and inequality. As India’s education system requires urgent attention and improvements, the NEED for quality education for all, especially the rural population has become the need of the hour, which further will result in strengthening India’s positioning in the global community. National Council will advocate for the most important and urgent improvements and advancements needed in the existing education system of India.

National Council would be primarily advocating for its own policies, guidelines and principles framed and introduced for the member institutions. The National Council will focus on advocacy for absolute freedom of Schools, Colleges, Universities and institutions for well-functioning. The body will make collective efforts along with its members to demand the alignment of national policies with science and study of early childhood development for constructing a standard framework for all pre-schools. Ensuring the quality early childhood Development through programs and initiatives for all children is paramount for National Council.

National Council will strongly advocate for safe and beautiful environment as well as better infrastructure in member institutions. Most importantly, National Council will advocate for the implementation of the National Education Excellence & Development (NEED) to expand access to education and achieve absolute educational excellence through initiatives like Home Schooling and E-Learning as it would help improve the literacy rate in India particularly in the rural areas to the people belonging to weaker sections.

Just as the various campaigns against corruption draws a large following in India, we strive to create a mass movement for the noble cause of educating each and every student especially girl child through funding, donations and contributions.

India’s education system, particularly secondary and higher secondary education are stricken with a number of serious problems such as financial disability to set up more schools, lack of qualified teachers, and least literacy rate in rural sectors, etc. National Council will act as a council that will make all possible attempts to eliminate such problems and transform India into an educational hub.

Apart from these, National Council will importantly advocate, promote and suggest the deployment of National Council’s state of the art technological & developmental solution ‘VISA’ that facilitates institutions self- assessment and self- regulation. It would work strongly to ensure essential resources and amenities within the institutions and via its initiatives will focus on the quality of classrooms, teachers’ expertise and qualification, efficiency of support staff, quality of food, hygiene standards, and safety measures within institution premises

In addition to the above factors, National Council will even advocate for the incorporation of Moral studies, Faith studies and religious & cultural value education in the schooling syllabus to shape a better personality of students turning them into morally, socially, ethically responsible citizens of the country. National Council under its initiative will constitute National Council of Religious Leaders and Educators (NCRLE) to promote traditional values and Faith education, intercultural and interfaith subjects across schools and will invite all religious leaders, spiritual gurus and educators to advocate NEED in National Education Summit and suggest alterations for the betterment of the schooling study material. In order to enable effective learning and imparting of relevant skills, National Council will contribute in curriculum planning and advocate for upgradation of the same. As the secondary education forms the primary bottleneck in the education system and lays an important initial foundation for the student’s growth and mind development, National Council will significantly contribute to the construction of meaningful syllabus and study material for secondary education.

Some of the other challenges that will be addressed by National Council includes Reformation of vocational education and training, creation of skilled workforce, skill shortages, implementation of common set of standards for education, ensuring accountability, effective utilisation of resources, and expanding and improving technical and Tertiary Education, transforming India into an global educational hub, amongst others.

Through its impact and with valuable support of its member institutions, National Council will make education extremely affordable and accessible as the basic right. National Council will engage the member institutions for dialogues and discussions on the study material to ensure students gain the right knowledge and skills from their academics.

The Council will strongly advocate for good quality basic education for all. It will not only advocate for the inclusion of the poor population into the mainstream education space but also will make efforts to retain the students till completion of the elementary education level.
