Core Values

National Council Higher Education (NCICU) plans to work in a dynamic environment while involved in a process of self and community reflection. The core values of NCICU will focus on the sustainable development of the institution and serve as a guide through changing times within a value framework taken into deliberation. There is a growing realization of the need to focus more on the outcomes of higher education and develop an institutional culture that will hold on to those values. Expansion of technology on educational delivery, increasing participation in higher education, and the impact of globalization will mark the changes in the Indian higher education system through NCICU.

Institutional autonomy

NCICU through its network will generate the quality of self-reliance among teachers, students and their parents under the guiding framework of our NEED policies. The autonomy of NCICU will be effective in decision-making regarding the academic work, standards, management, and relevant activities undeviating from one's values.

Fostering global competencies

A set of futuristic competencies in an increasingly networked world of education among students will set NCICU core values at global virtue. Our council advocates being versatile in generic skills across different disciplines will be the basis for various professional skills to make the students globally competent.

Equitable excellence

NCICU projects of clear and transparent participation of students without discernment in academic performance in higher education. We nurture equitable learning opportunities to let the students recognize a unique experience and set to be an inspiration to others that can be of great value.

Inculcating values and responsibility

NCICU is expected to contribute to the student's responsibility for nation-building and social unity through the transmission of educational values and aid them in contributing towards the creation of an egalitarian society.
