NCICU Evaluators

National Council Higher Education evaluators play a critical role in the deliberate, thorough accreditation of institutions, ensuring quality, and adhering to ethical and educational practices. NCICU Evaluators are volunteers recognized for their dedication and willingness by serving on evaluation teams and reviewing member institutions fairly, without bias, and according to established standards. The Evaluators will be Members, Academicians, and Administrates affiliated with NCICU, engaged in postsecondary teaching or administration currently or within the last five years. Based on qualifications and upon successful completion of NCICU training, evaluators will be assigned one of the roles: Program Specialist, Chair, Student Relations, Educational Activities, and Distance Education

Qualification criteria of an NCICU Evaluator are-

  • Accreditation with NCICU directly, or through member school
  • Command in the English language
  • Credible teacher qualification/license; or qualification in the area of expertise
  • Two years of current and full-time experience as a teacher

NCICU will enrich its global community through its peer evaluation strategy. Acknowledging different ideas and perspectives with our set of NCICU evaluators we strive to maintain the highest educational standards. The role of an evaluator in NCICU will be to optimize the credentials of the college/university/institution and assess its caliber to match with our higher education standards during accreditation visits.
