The Accreditation Workshops will provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the NCICU’s standards and procedures, as well as to share experiences with other Colleges, Universities, and Higher education institutions in the accreditation process. The process begins with attendance at an Accreditation Workshop where the National Council Higher Education will provide training and resources which will assist colleges as they strive towards a meaningful self-evaluation experience. The workshops will offer intensive, hands-on learning opportunities for teams of colleges. Under the guidance of expert practitioners, Colleges, Universities, and Institutions will get to learn tested strategies and leave with plans for action that can be implemented at their institutions right away. NCICU will host Strategy workshop, Assessment workshop, Supporting Student Success workshop, and several other workshops for accredited members.
The sole purpose will be to learn more about criteria, policies, and procedures, and to share information and ideas on current issues involving proprietary institutions. NCICU will also host its annual meeting, in which all NCICU accredited institutions are invited to attend to learn more about the Council's activities during the year and to meet and greet other member institutions. The Pre-Workshop application for Initial Applicant Institution will be the first step required for any institution seeking early accreditation from NCICU. You will receive more information about workshops through the website or get notified through email when early registration opens for the workshops you select, giving you a chance to register before the rest of NCICU’s membership.
