NEED

National Council introduces the National Education Excellence and Development (NEED) to develop quality educational standards. NEED facilitates the exchange of creative educational ideas, knowledge, and expertise amongst its member schools, colleges, universities, educational & research organisations, corporate houses and industries to cultivate research collaborations for curriculum planning instruction development, innovation in educational research & development, improving the quality of education, uplifting the teaching and training standards, enhancing the assessment and evaluation procedures, and ameliorating student learning outcomes, etc.

The NEED will also provide a highly motivated support, organise sports and cultural competitions, and will contribute to the community and environmental development through integration of education patterns and systems.

Educational Mission

The Educational Mission of National Education Excellence & Development (NEED) is to encourage research-based academics, in-demand skill development, quality education, improvement of assessment & evaluation systems, enhancing institutional functioning & operations, which further advances the long-term practices of systemic quality education for Secondary and Higher Education.

Accountability

To ensure absolute accountability and transparency for improving educational institutions internal management, operations and functioning, the National Council provides institutions with cutting edge technological solution “Voluntary Institutions System of Accountability” (VISA).

Continuous Improvement

In order to achieve Continuous Improvement, the National Council recommends Voluntary Institutions System of Accountability (VISA) for educational institutions. An integral quality assurance system, VISA is a technological solution specifically designed for schools, colleges and universities to facilitate end-to-end campus management planning for greater transparency, monitoring and reporting that goes far beyond the realms of regulatory outcomes and measures. In other words, it is an automated audit system that helps in successful implementation of the National Education Excellence & Development (NEED). The VISA system provides useful insights to the management for steering their institutions towards Educational Excellence.

Evaluating Success

The success and improvements in terms of quality education within an educational institution will be measured through successful implementation of National Education Excellence & Development (NEED) and deployment of National Council’s Voluntary Institutions System of Accountability (VISA).
